Supply-chain custody passport
miombo_passport · v1.0.0
Binds a shipment, its allocated assay batches and a frozen nature-risk passport snapshot into a signed chain-of-custody certificate.
Inputs
- staged or in-transit shipment and its asset;
- one or more allocated assay batches and allocated mass;
- active public disclosure token;
- current nexus and transition-risk evidence when available;
- issuing identity and certificate timestamp.
Calculation and controls
The method freezes an asset passport snapshot, serializes it deterministically for hashing, and binds the snapshot hash and batch allocations into a signed certificate manifest. The QR payload includes a certificate prefix and passport-hash prefix for public lookup. Later custody events append to the certificate history.
Outputs
- certificate and shipment identity;
- frozen passport snapshot and hash;
- assay-batch allocations;
- manifest hash, QR verification payload and printable certificate reference;
- EUDR relevance indicator based on configured commodity scope.
Limitations
The certificate proves integrity of the recorded snapshot and custody events; it does not independently prove physical possession, assay accuracy, legal title or regulatory compliance. Commodity relevance is not a legal determination of EUDR applicability.
